How to Join a Cannabis Social Club in Seville
A cannabis club in Seville is a private, non-profit members’ association, not a shop or a coffeeshop. To get in you need three things: to be 18 or over, a passport or national ID card, and an invitation with an appointment. Membership usually costs €20–50 a year, depending on the club.
Weedestiny arranges a free invitation to two verified clubs in Seville: G13, in Nervión, and 7 Verdes 7 Marrones, in Sevilla Este.
How to join, step by step:
- Pick a club from the list on this page.
- Request your invitation on the club’s page. It’s free and we handle it for you.
- Bring your passport or ID to your appointment and sign up as a member.
- Pay the yearly membership, €20–50 depending on the club, and you’re in.
Every step in more detail in our guide how to join a cannabis club in Seville.
Cannabis Social Clubs in Seville, by Neighbourhood
These are the two clubs where we can get you a free invitation, each with its own page:
- G13 Cannabis Club · Calle San Benito, 5, Nervión (La Calzada) · open every day, 11:00–00:00
- 7 Verdes 7 Marrones · Calle Escritor Alfonso Grosso, 13, Sevilla Este · Sunday to Thursday 11:00–00:00, Friday and Saturday 11:00–02:00
G13 is the closer of the two to the old town; 7 Verdes 7 Marrones is in the east of the city, easiest by taxi or bus. Our Spanish-language directory lists 19 more associations in Seville, most of them in the old town (Casco Antiguo) and Nervión, but these two are the ones where we can arrange your invitation. None of them admits walk-ins: request your invitation before you go.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
On your first visit the club checks your ID, you fill in the membership form and pay the yearly fee. From then on you come in as a member. Expect a private members’ space rather than a bar, and staff who will explain the house rules.
Two things surprise most visitors. Cannabis can’t leave the club: whatever you consume stays inside. And clubs don’t take walk-ins, so arrange your invitation before you go.
Where Are the Cannabis Clubs in Seville?
Most of the associations in our directory are in two areas. The old town (Casco Antiguo), between the Alameda de Hércules and the Encarnación, has five. Nervión, east of the centre around the Sevilla FC stadium, has another five, G13 among them.
There are also clubs in Sevilla Este, where 7 Verdes 7 Marrones is, in the Distrito Sur and in Los Remedios. Triana, the neighbourhood across the river that many visitors ask about, has none that we have verified: the nearest are in Los Remedios.
Tips Before You Go
- Request your invitation a few days ahead. Clubs work by appointment.
- Bring the original passport or ID, not a photo of it.
- Ignore street touts offering to take you to a club. Legitimate associations do not recruit on the street.
- Keep it inside. No smoking at the door or in the street outside the club.
Is Cannabis Legal in Seville?
Spain has not legalised cannabis. Using it in a private space is not a criminal offence, but using or carrying it in public (streets, parks, the riverside or public transport) is a serious administrative offence under Organic Law 4/2015, with fines starting at €601.
Cannabis social clubs operate in a legal grey area. They rely on the right of association and on court rulings about shared consumption, and no regional law regulates them in Andalusia. That is why legitimate clubs are private, non-profit and members-only, and why cannabis has to stay inside the club.
Frequently Asked Questions about Cannabis Clubs in Seville
How much does cannabis club membership cost in Seville?
Most clubs charge a yearly membership of €20–50. It is a contribution to the association, not the price of cannabis, and it covers your registration and the upkeep of the premises. Each club sets its own fee, so confirm it when you request your invitation.
Can tourists join a cannabis club in Seville?
Yes, if you are 18 or over and bring your passport, although each club decides who it admits and some only take residents. Keep in mind that a club is a members’ association, not a tourist attraction. Be wary of anyone offering instant access on the street or charging for an invitation: with Weedestiny it is free.
Are there coffeeshops in Seville like in Amsterdam?
No. Spain has no legal retail sale of cannabis. What exists are private associations that only members can enter, where consumption stays inside. A place that is open to anyone and sells at the door is not a members’ club.
Can I smoke weed on the street in Seville?
No. Using or carrying cannabis in public, including parks such as María Luisa and the banks of the Guadalquivir, can get you a fine starting at €601 under Organic Law 4/2015. Consume only inside the club.
What is the minimum age to join?
18, which is the legal age in Spain and what both G13 and 7 Verdes 7 Marrones ask for. Some associations set their own minimum of 21, so check the club’s page before you go.
Can I take cannabis home from the club?
No. Cannabis at a club is for consumption on the premises only. Leaving with it means carrying it in public, which is the same offence as using it on the street.
